Subbulakshmi can be heard in many Kannada, Tamil, and Telugu houses each morning. It was composed around 1430 A.D. by Sri Prativadi Bhayankaram Annan Swami, a disciple of Swami Manavala Mamuni, who also composed Sri Ranganatha Suprabhatam.
